Our first look at Assassin’s Creed: Bloodlines for the PSP has finally arrived. Bloodlines picks up right after the events from the first Assassin’s Creed. You will be playing as Altair again as he hunts down the remaining Templars who fled from the Holy Land to the island of Cyprus after the death of Robert De Sable.
Bloodlines will contain eight new missions and the same feeling of exploration will be in the game as well, including being able to climb like a monkey on every surface. Bloodlines will also bridge the gap between Assassin’s Creed and Assassin’s Creed 2. It will explain how Ezio, the hero of 2, is born and where the Codex comes from.
There’s also some connectivity features for the PS3 version of AC 2 and Bloodlines. When you unlock health and hidden blade upgrades in the AC 2, those upgrades will appear in Bloodlines and vice-versa too. You’ll be able to gain access to any Templar Coins and special weapons you’ve collected on the PSP version over on the PS3 version as well.
Assassin’s Creed: Bloodlines will be out during the holiday season this year. In the mean time, check out the world premier trailer after the break.
