First details on Marvel vs. Capcom 3 spring forth

The latest issue of Game Informer has been quite, uhhh, informative. Not only did the mag bring us details on LittleBigPlanet 2, but it also revealed our first details on Marvel vs. Capcom 3. Some of you may be a bit disappointed with what is about to come, some of you may be elated.

The big news is that MvC3 is going to play a lot like Tatsunoko vs. Capcom, and by a lot I mean it’s pretty much using the same simplified scheme that TvC uses. However, things like Hyper Combo cancels, Snapbacks and assists will all still be present in the game. The game will also include simplified launch attacks that will be triggered by an “Exchange Button,” and can be countered by the opponent guessing the correct exchange move executed.

Aside from this possibly divisive bit of information we have confirmation (in some cases double confirmation) that The Hulk, Chris Redfield, Iron Man, Dante, Captain America, Felicia, Morrigan, Wolverine and Deadpool are all in the game. Seems that Chris Redfield will be bringing along his shotgun and shock stick from Resident Evil 5 while Deadpool will be breaking the fourth wall aplenty with attacks like beating his opponent with his health bar. I love Deadpool.
