We get it, we get it — you’re skeptical about Call of Duty: World at War because it’s developed by Treyarch, those “villains” who “ruined” Call of Duty 3. Surprise — it’s good! According to the first review in European magazine PSW, not only is it good, but it’s better than Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare

That’s right,” they write, “Treyarch has toppled Infinity Ward.”

Strong words, especially when many consider Modern Warfare one of Infinity Ward’s best efforts to date, if not one of the best games of 2007. PSW loved the game so much, they awarded it a perfect score, a 10 out of 10.

Granted, this is only one review — and the first one of many — so you should take it with a grain of salt. And while I’m not reviewing it (and I can’t really say much about it), I will say that World at War is way better than you’re probably expecting it to be.
