Firewatch maker Camp Santo is rolling out a new free-roam mode that lets players take in the soothing sights and sounds of the Wyoming wilderness without distractions like objectives getting in the way. For this type of game, with this type of look (I am still in awe!), that’s a wonderful addition.
The patch should be ready on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One by the time you read this. You will need to clear Firewatch first to access this mode, so once that’s taken care of, look for it in the main menu under special features.
