Fire Emblem is my kind of game. It’s also the first game I ever wrote about on Destructoid. And if Nintendo keeps remaking them I’ll have constant reminders of my first day here from now on.
The new remake is called Fire Emblem: Mystery of the Emblem – Hero of Light and Shadow, coming soon for the Nintendo DS in Japan. Siliconera says that this is a remake of the Japan-only Fire Emblem: Mystery of the Emblem. The teaser trailer on the Nintendo official webpage won’t do much for you (no gameplay imagery), but at least you can see some pretty story art.
Nintendo has a pretty decent back catalog of Fire Emblem games to draw upon for remakes. That’s fine with me. Keep ’em coming!
