Are you surprised? Probably not. The absurdly popular Final Fantasy XIII has broken the 5.5 million sales mark, with an even spread across Japan, North America and Europe. The JRPG behemoth heads up a fiscal year teeming with Square Enix success stories.
Dragon Quest IX, Batman: Arkham Asylum, Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days and Dragon Quest VI all netted over a million sales, with Just Cause 2 squeaking just under the mark with 0.92 million units. Still not too shabby.
So, Square Enix has made a load of money. Whoever could have seen that coming?
