Final Fantasy IV’s Interlude chapter detailed

What comes between Final Fantasy IV and FF4’s The After Years? We’ll find out when Final Fantasy IV Interlude is finally playable in the PSP title Final Fantasy IV Complete Collection, set for a March 24th release in Japan.

This new episode fills in the holes between the two FF4 releases, and in it you’ll play as Cecil. It takes place a few years after the end of Final Fantasy IV proper, says Andriasang.

Famitsu says that the collection will feature new, high resolution visuals. The soundtrack is also switchable between the original and arranged soundtracks. There’s also a gallery mode with images and movies related to the fourth game in Square Enix’s most popular series.
