Final Fantasy II’s Emperor gets a new groove in Dissidia Final Fantasy

Beware the groove

If you’re like me, you’ve been keeping tabs of Dissidia Final Fantasy arcade in the hopes that’ll it’ll come to the PlayStation 4 soon. The two PSP titles were some of my favorite games on that system, so I really want to play this soon.

What makes it sting even more is when new characters are added and they look pretty cool. Final Fantasy II‘s Emperor Mateus definitely looks good in the new engine even if his move set is the same as before. Then again, it’s not like Square Enix was going to throw off the emperor’s groove.

I wonder who’s going to be added next? The first two games had huge rosters, so hopefully they reach a stopping point soon and port/localize the beast.
