Final Fantasy Distant Worlds meet & greet ticket details announced

Recommended Videos

You may have been around a few days ago when I was splooging all over the front page in regards to the announcement of two new dates for the Final Fantasy: Distant Worlds concert series. Since then, the official Distant Worlds website has updated with new information in reagrds to the meet and greet, which gives the public a chance to meet famed composer Nobuo Uematsu.

From the update:

A special meet & greet reception with Final Fantasy music composer Nobuo Uematsu and Distant Worlds conductor/music director Arnie Roth will take place immediately following the Grand Rapids performance.  Tickets for the meet/greet are available only by calling the Grand Rapids Symphony office at (616) 454-9451, Ext. 4 and will not be available online.  Tickets go on sale at 10am, Monday Sept. 22nd, 2008.  Be sure to mention special offer code CHOCOBO when calling.  Meet/greet ticket price is $50 USD and is limited to only 150 tickets.  A ticket to the concert (sold separately)
is also required to attend the meet/greet.

I don’t think I have ever been this excited about something eight months in the future. As promised in my previous post, Destructoid will be present to bring you coverage in the form of myself, Dale North, and of course, the robot. Keep us posted closer to the date if you plan to attend. If you’re a Final Fantasy fan and love the music of the series, this will be the kind of event that you’ll remember for a lifetime — don’t miss out!
