Hironobu Sakaguchi, creator of Final Fantasy and founder of Mistwalker (Last Story) will receive the Lifetime Achievement Award at the 15th annual Game Developers Choice Awards in March. The award show will be streamed online Wednesday, March 6 at 6:30PM PST. Tim Schafer is hosting it, so that should be delightful.

“Father of the PlayStation” Ken Kutaragi received the award last year, which spawned this hilarious Mega64 video.
