FFXIV Little Ladies Day & Hatching-Tide 2024: How to get the Pink Goobbue mount

An egg-cellent Goobbue performance

The egg-stravaganza that is the combined Hatching Tide and Little Ladies’ Day event is upon us in Final Fantasy XIV and there’s a Goobbue who needs our help. Here’s how to complete this year’s combined seasonal quests and get yourself the Peatie mount in FFXIV

The Hatching Tide meets Little Ladies’ Day seasonal quests will see you travel between Gridania and Ul’dah in order to help a certain pink Goobbue overcome her stage fright, bringing cheer to all who witness her magical abilities. However, the Ul’dahns aren’t exactly thrilled at the prospect, due to a rampaging Goobbue who invaded the city 15 years ago, so you’ve got to convince them that everything is going to be ok.

This year’s Little Ladies’ Day and Hatching-tide celebrations begin today, March 14, and end next month on April 1.

To begin the first quest, head to Mih Khetto’s Amphitheatre and search out Jihli Aliapoh (X:10.2, Y:9.4). Upon talking to her, you’ll discover that the combined events came about because she had a dream about a Goobbue holding an egg. Makes sense.

Once you’ve left the cutscene, head to Bentbranch Meadows and find Aldemund (X:22.4, Y:23.1) with his Goobbue, Peatie, who we soon find out has stage fright and needs some help to overcome her nerves.

Talk to Aldemund again, mount Peatie, and then use her ‘Egg Surprise’ ability on the following three NPCs:

  • Enthused Man (X:22.1, Y:22.6)
  • Curious Lass (X:21.7, Y:21.9)
  • Chocobokeep (X:20.6, Y:21.8)

Head back to Aldemund and celebrate Peatie’s excellent performance, ending the first quest.

The second quest of the seasonal event takes us to Ul’dah, in order to convince the citizens that this Goobbue performance won’t end in a Goobbue rampage like the one which occurred 15 years previously.

To begin this quest, speak with the Royal Seneschal in Bentbranch Meadows before heading off to Ul’dah to speak to him again near the Adventurer’s Guild (X:10.5, Y:8.6). He’ll tell you that he’s going to drum up excitement in the area, before sending you off to the Steps of Thal.

Here, you’ll need to find the following NPCs and convince them that Peatie is safe:

  • Distracted Citizen (X:13.7, Y:9.7)
  • Elegant Citizen (X:14.2, Y:11.0)
  • Nonchalant Citizen (X:11.2, Y:11.4)

Having done this, head back to the stage on the Steps of Nald and speak to the Royal Seneschal again to discover that Peatie has seen the growing crowd and is now too scared to perform.

To get her in the mood, use the /rally emote on Peatie, before heading to the Designated Location in front of the stage to watch her perform.

All that’s left to do now is head back to the Royal Seneschal. During this cutscene, the Peatie Horn will be given to you in order to continue her adventures.
