When does FFXIV x Fall Guys event return?

The limited-time Final Fantasy XIV x Fall Guys collaboration event returns on May 23, 2024, at 4:00 am EST and runs through June 10, 2024, at 10:59 pm EST. The return of the event offers a chance for those who missed out the first time around to earn all the exclusive rewards, including a mount, framer’s kits, some awesome glam, and even a title.

There are no new rewards with the return of the FFXIV x Fall Guys event, so if you conquered Blunderville in the past, you can certainly return to defend your crown but will have nothing new to obtain. Players who have already completed the Just Crowning Around quest will be able to jump right back into Blunderville, and do not need to complete the quest again.

While the return of the event will only last for about 2.5 weeks, Square Enix has confirmed that it will return again as a special event though at irregular intervals.

How to begin the FFXIV x Fall Guys Collab event

As long as you are Level 15 or higher and have unlocked the Gold Saucer, you can begin the Fall Guys event by speaking to Lewena in The Gold Saucer (X: 4.8, Y: 6.1). She’ll give you the quest Just Crowning Around. You’ll gain access to Blunderville and Custom HUD settings, so spruce those up before jumping in. If you leave Blunderville Square, you can speak to the Blunderville Attendant in The Gold Saucer (X:5.8, Y: 6.3) to get back in.

To begin an obstacle course, speak to the Blundarville Registrar and join the queue for a 24-man showdown for the crown. And if you’re here after the December deadline, don’t fret. The FFXIV x Fall Guys collab is a limited-time affair, but only for now. It will return as a special event at irregular intervals.

After queueing into the Blunderville competition, you’ll need to race to the end of three obstacle courses. Those who make the cut continue to the next round as a contestant. However, even if you lose, you can still watch in Spectator Mode and get a feel for what each course is like.

  • Round 1: Be one of the first 16 to reach the end.
  • Round 2: Be one of the first 8 to the end.
  • Round 3: Be the first to the top.

Wins net you 100 MGF, while a fail rewards 50 MGF. You’ll also get MGP, which has its own uses, but none of the event rewards can be exchanged for the usual Gold Saucer currency.
