For the first time in the history of the official UFC game series, female fighters will be playable in the upcoming EA Sports UFC.

“This is a great moment for videogames and for Mixed Martial Arts,” said Dean Richards, General Manager, EA Sports UFC. Dana White, UFC President, also added that “since we added the Women’s Bantamweight division earlier this year, the women have impressed everyone.”

The full roster hasn’t been announced yet, but Batamweight champion Ronda Rousey and top contender Miesha Tate will be featured in the game.
