There’s an upcoming live-action web series set in the world of RPG Dragon Age, and it stars internet personality Felicia Day of The Guild. Day, who also wrote the script of this six-episode project, will play an Elven assassin named Tallis.
“Tallis is headstrong, she fights dirty, and she has a really sarcastic sense of humor. She can’t accomplish her mission alone, so finding allies is tricky,” Day said of her character in Dragon Age: Redemption. “I wanted to bring a modern sensibility to a fantasy character in a fantasy world.”
It sounds like BioWare is all for Day’s work on the series: “We are really, really excited to work with people like her who have a passion and appreciation for the content and a really good history of quality,” says BioWare co-founder Greg Zeschuk. “That’s who we want to work with.”
Look for Redemption on the web later this year. In the meantime, next week’s demo of Dragon Age II should give you more than enough to hold you over.
