EA Sports has announced maintenance for FC 26 and some older titles, and we won’t be able to access the servers for a fixed duration. Today’s maintenance seems routine, as EA Sports has shared all the details on the official X account.
In this guide, I will go through all the details about today’s maintenance and, more importantly, when the servers will be back online.
FC 26 server maintenance (July 29) details
Earlier today, EA Sports announced details regarding the upcoming announcement. As far as the information we have, the maintenance will begin at 1am PT/3am CT/4am ET/8am UTC.
Today’s maintenance will last for four hours. The servers will be restored at 5am PT/7am CT/8am ET/12pm UTC. Matchmaking will be disabled 30 mins before the maintenance. As of writing, you won’t be able to begin any matches that requires online connectivity.
While the maintenance is live, you won’t be able to access any game mode that requires an online connection. This includes the entirety of Ultimate Team Mode, which will be out of order. Even if you manage to get access to the mode, matchmaking will result in an error.
Do not worry because this is completely routine and normal. You will be able to matchmake normally once the servers are restored.
If you still want to play during the time of maintenance, your best option is the Career Mode. EA Sports has made plenty of changes this year, and you can enjoy them while the servers remain offline. There are also Career Mode-exclusive objectives that rewards you with extra SP to unlock more rewards to use in Ultimate Team, Clubs, etc.
Today’s maintenance also impacts the servers for FC 25 and FC 24 if you’re still on one of those older titles.
