Fatshark’s Krater will make a hole in my wallet

How have I not heard of Krater before today?! 

The top-down RPG from Fatshark games (the folks behind Lead and Gold: Gangs of the West, and Bionic Commando: Rearmed 2), touts an intriguing setting and more than its fair share of seemingly nonsensical terms. Gerontocracy, a government ruled by the elderly, is something that I had to look at a few times before my brain recognized it as a legitimate term. 

It’s still a work in progress, but preorders ranging from €14.99 ($20) to €99 ($131) can get you in on the game as it stands now, and all future updates. It’s an interesting mix of Kickstarter and Minecraft-style alpha funding. I know what I’ll be doing when I get paid.
