Fans petition Konami for Suikoden on PSN worldwide

It’s Konami though, so double good luck!

Fans are currently petitioning Konami for a worldwide release of Suikoden and its sequel, Suikoden II, on PlayStation Network. A Facebook group, Suikoden Revival Movement, is organizing mass posts on Konami’s various social channels, politely requesting the games.

“We shall be doing a monthly Email/Twitter/Facebook campaign,” announced the group. “The first week of every month shall consist of E-Mail Monday, Twitter Tuesday and Facebook Friday. Then we have a rest for the remaining 3 weeks of the month. Soon, we hope to incorporate a Write-In Wednesday and a Phone-in Thursday too.”

I always enjoy movements like these, since they strive for a pretty positive goal and really show how much gamers care about these titles. Of course, the fans are dealing with Konami, a publisher that might not even know it’s a videogame publisher these days, so I can only wish them luck on what is sure to be a frustrating journey.
