Fan-made Minecraft: The Last Minecart is remarkable

Recommended Videos

After this morning’s demented Minecraft video in which a man’s face is harvested for precious diamonds, it was hard for me to give Corridor Digtal‘s Minecraft: The Last Minecart a fair chance. Two quality live-action videos in one day? “Poppycock,” I thought.

But there was enough of a reaction to get me to at least watch it for myself, and boy, I couldn’t have been more wrong. As a fan of Minecraft, this is probably the best thing to happen in a while. It somehow manages to be funny, thought provoking, and respectful to the source material all at once.

So effing good. There’s also a bonus scene.
