Fan-made Chrono Trigger Symphony coming later this month

Blake Robinson is at it again

Recommended Videos

Blake Robinson is a beast. Earlier this year, he produced a symphonic arrangement of the Super Metroid soundtrack. A couple months later, he did the same for Banjo-Kazooie. Now Chrono Trigger is up on the block. Does the man ever sleep!?

On August 22, Blake will release Chrono Trigger Symphony: Volume 1, a 23-track project that covers a solid chunk of the Super Nintendo RPG’s music, all done in orchestral style. In addition to the trailer above, there are currently samples of “Frog’s Theme,” “Wind Scene,” and “The Trial” on the album page. Chrono Trigger is a much beefier game than what Blake has covered before, so you can expect many more volumes in the future.

The album will be available on iTunes and Loudr just as always. Remember — God, how many times have I repeated this? — his music is licensed through Joypad Records so that he can legally make green off of it. So please, please, PLEASE stop sweating those details.
