AGD Interactive, makers of the fantastic King’s Quest II+, will be releasing Kings Quest III Redux near the end of next month. Just as with their previous remakes in the series, the game features a massive graphical overhaul along with new music and effects and updates the game to a point-and-click interface rather than the original text parser.
Now, this isn’t the first VGA remake of King’s Quest III, as Infamous Adventures released one in 2006. But Redux is supposed to be a bit more of a reworking and adds plot elements introduced in King’s Quest II+. I don’t really need an excuse to play another King’s Quest, even if it’s one I’ve already played most of.
