Let’s get ready to stumble

As we approaching the anticipated second season of madcap battle royale title Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout, Mediatonic has teased that – along with the previously revealed new games and skins – season two will offer unlucky beans the opportunity to bag up more of those elusive crowns.

“We’ve heard all of your feedback loud and clear,” announced the official Fall Guys Twitter. “Winning crowns in Fall Guys against 59 other beans can be a little challenging. For season two, we’ve added over 600% more golden crowns into the Season Awards… FEATURED COSTUMES FOR EVERYONE.”

No specific details were offered as to how these new crowns would appear in season two. Maybe they’ll be in-game objectives, perhaps they’ll just be level grinds, but it seems the evasive prize of the every-bean-for-themselves battle is perhaps going to be a little easier to come by. It’s been argued by some players in the comments that this motion will lessen the impact of actually outlasting your bean brethren, but we’ll see.

Further on the in same Twitter thread, Fall Guys appeared to tease a “very spicy” new way that season two will be rewarding its “most competitive” players, before going on to suggest that “nameplates” are also in the works, to be revealed in the coming days. So better get back in training, as the race to the top of the mountain is far from over.

Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout is available now on PS4 and PC.
