F4: RotSS 360 screens; e-Alba makes Niero look blacker than a thousand midnights

With the stunning mediocrity of the recent Spiderman 3 movie-to-game adaptation and the theatrical abortion that was the original Fantastic Four movie, we have to wonder if any of you are really looking forward to this video game adaptation of the upcoming Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer.

Sadly, this new batch of screens doesn’t do much to change the general malaise you all must have about this title. Even looking beyond the fact that the characters look like they were carved out of wax, and that Michael Chiklis is slathered in delicious peanut butter, nothing here looks very compelling.

I recall a batch of Dead Rising pre-release screens where Frank was discussing the Found Art movement as popularized by Marcel Duchamp with a group of zombies, and we all know how awesome that title was. All of these screens seem to portray the characters shortly after having seen Steve Harvey at The Apollo, so you can see why we’re left with a lingering sense of dread.
