F.E.A.R 3 t3as3d, unfortunat3ly nam3d F.3.A.R.

It looks like we’ll soon be getting some information on the follow up to F.E.A.R. 2: Project Origin. But don’t go looking for details on F.E.A.R. 3 — the game may be officially called F.3.A.R.. (Yes, that’s a number.)

This comes from a teaser in a Spanish magazine which teased the title, along with some gritty artwork featuring an older-looking Alma. The scan of the teaser was posted on NeoGAF, after which the forum members mercilessly mocked the use of the “3” in the title.

The sequel should come as no surprise, as it’s been mentioned and leaked in a number of places. Back in November, the game was listed on a leaked Warner Bros. release list, and then in December, a F.E.A.R. 3: Project Hades appeared on an artist’s resume. Last month, we got some plot details by way of an alleged casting call. An episode of The Jace Hall Show may have also featured less than 10 seconds of footage from the game as well (at the 15:02 mark).

It’s likely we’ll be hearing more very soon, with publishers looking to ramp up that E3 hype train. Stay tuned.

F3AR revealed.Yes, it’s named F3AR, so original. [NeoGAF]
