Extradimensional Crisis best cards – Pokémon TCG Pocket

Ultra Beasts have invaded Pokémon TCG Pocket through the launch of the Extradimensional Crisis expansion set, and with it, there are a bunch of new cards and deck types to play around with.

Being an expansion set, there’s nothing majorly new here, mostly support for older decks as well as some new deck types to try, such as the latest Ultra Beast-type cards that all play off one another for some interesting combinations.

The five best Extradimensional Crisis cards in Pokémon TCG Pocket

Extradimension Crisis isn’t as meta-breaking as some of the previous releases, but there are still a small number of cards that can offer you some differences when trying to climb ranked, playing in tournaments, or with friends.

Tapu Koko ex

Pretty much does what OG Pikachu ex did, but with the ability to do an attack that gives in Energy and skip a turn stacking up and will always hit 90 atk without needing to worry about a backline. Pretty solid card overall.

Celesteela

Celesteela is mainly here for its Ability, which lets you switch your Active Ultra Beast with one of your Benched Ultra Beasts. If any Ultra Beast decks do take off, this one is a good card to have for the free Switch capabilities.

Repel

It does what Sabrina does without the need to waste your Trainer card that turn. It’s a no-brainer really, and while you can’t choose what Pokémon gets swapped like Sabrina, the fact you could use this the same turn as a Trainer card makes it all the more valuable.

Electrical Cord

I have to admit that I’m a bit biased with this choice as an Electric-type deck main. If I can attach this to my Pachirisu and it faints, the time getting energy isn’t wasted, as I can slap it on my Pikachu or Oricorio in the backline for them to come in and deal a bunch of damage without having to wait turns to Energy stack.

Lusamine

This last card is a bit subjective, but it helps those trying to build Ultra Beast decks with the new set. It isn’t something you can use straight away, but the ability to give your Ultra Beast two Energy from the discard pile could be the difference between a comeback and a defeat.
