Expect to see more PlayStation properties on mobile

The new ForwardWorks Corporation is on the job

Sony is opening a new division, ForwardWorks, in Tokyo to turn some of its existing PlayStation properties into “full-fledged game titles” for mobile devices in Japan and Asia (at least to start).

The company didn’t name any likely candidates, but you lovely people can use your imaginations, I’m sure. Step aside, Young Conker — Grandpa Bandicoot is in town! All joking aside, I would think and hope that lessons were learned from the now-defunct PlayStation Mobile.

Sony Computer Entertainment also says it is changing its name to Sony Interactive Entertainment on April 1, 2016, which is something I’ll definitely struggle to retain after today.
