Exit for DS demo gets the Flash treatment

Recommended Videos

Another day another Flash demo for an upcoming DS game.  This time it’s Taito’s Exit for the DS. Granted, you’ve probably played Exit on Live or a game with similar mechanics and goals via a browser already; but this marks an interesting trend, with DS games getting playable Flash demos in increasing frequency.

Now you might say that the potentially upcoming ability to download demos directly from a Wii makes this pointless, and hey, that’s cool, we like stunning displays of idiocy here at the ‘toid. Unfortunately, not all of us are blessed enough to own both a Wii and a DS, making our attempts at downloading demos hilariously fruitless.

While I’m not frothing-at-the-mouth excited to play a Flash demo of a game I’ve already played on Live, I am excited by the prospect of Flash demos of new DS games becoming de-riguer. With luck we’ll never have to re-live the painful experience of buying a game sight unseen only for it to turn out a total waste of time and plastic.

Even if you’ve played Exit, be sure to check out the Flash demo; who knows, you might be pleasantly surprised.
