Evo2k11: Interviews with Alex Valle, Dr. Doom, and more!

Recommended Videos

Outside of my scheduled time with Capcom representatives, I also had a chance to wander around the show floor and interview several attendees. The first interview was with Alex Valle, also known as “Mr. Street Fighter.” Long before the big names that we hear about today, he was making himself known in the tournament scene. I had the chance to chat with him about the fighting game scene, his progress at EVO, and his future plans.

Check below for the other interviews with several Dtoid community members, and also the leader of Latveria himself, Dr. Doom!

In this interview, I chat with two Dtoid community members, Keres and Vigilante8, about their EVO experiences. They talk about which tournaments they’ve entered and what they’re most excited about.

Also wandering the show floor was Dr. Doom, as seen in Maximillian’s YouTube videos. I gathered the courage to approach him for an interview, and he had enough mercy on me to oblige. Here, he explains the reasoning behind many of Capcom’s decisions, such as the decision to include Strider Hiryu and to exclude Mega Man from Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3.
