After revealing more of the Ocarina of Time remake, Nintendo is now ready to drop an even longer showcase to show off upcoming Switch 2 games launching throughout the end of 2026 and even further beyond.

Monster Hunter Wilds and Ascendance
First up is Monster Hunter Wilds and its Ascendance DLC, which are both coming to Switch 2 for the first time. It supports local play for those of us who have IRL friends. It’s launching on Dec. 4, and Ascendance will follow in 2027.
Final Fantasy VII Revelation and Crisis Core
A new trailer for the finale to the FF7 remake trilogy, it’s launching on Switch 2 alongside all other platforms on April 8. Crisis Core: FF7 Reunion is also launching on Switch 2, later today.
Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity – Definitive Edition
The Dynasty Warriors-style Zelda game is coming to Switch 2, now enhanced for the new console, and with a new difficulty mode. It’s launching on Feb. 25, 2027.
Meccha Chameleon
The viral hide and seek game is coming to Switch 2 later today.
