Everspace 2 is getting a closed alpha starting this week

More space shooty shooty bang bang

While I enjoyed the original enough, Everspace 2 looks like a vast improvement on its predecessor ahead of it’s release to early access later this year. For those of you who cannot wait though, and aren’t afraid to get your hands dirty with some possibly janky gameplay, a closed alpha for the game is coming this week, June 15 to Steam. While most alpha participants have been chosen thanks to the original crowdfunding campaign, there are still some spots available if you email [email protected].

Along with the alpha announcement, there was some new footage that looks to scratch more of my long lost Star Fox 64 all-range mode battle itches that have gone unscratched for decades.

Everspace 2 is slated for an Early Access release later this year on PC with a full console release on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in 2021.
