Even Babymetal is teaming up with Mario Maker

Someone at Nintendo must be a fan

The metal idol group Babymetal is coming to Super Mario Maker as a character costume, which is something I should probably find strange, but don’t — not after the pigeon, Barbara the Bat, and Chitoge Kirisaki. Nintendo has gone to unexpected places with this game and I’m loving it.

I wasn’t familiar with Babymetal until now, but Holmes says “They used to have a lot spookier videos, with a drummer dressed like a skeleton, but I can’t find them ATM.” He was thoughtful enough to drop this video for “Gimme Chocolate!!” in ours laps, and what the, I kinda dig it.
