One based on Joel, and one based on Ellie
Not to be outdone by the US special editions, Europe is also getting a couple of special editions of The Last of Us in two flavors. Both editions will include the game, a canvas wrap, mini artbook, mini comic, screen print poster, a PS3 dynamic theme, digital soundtrack, two exclusive avatars, a PS3 controller skin, and LittleBigPlanet costume.
The mega collection will also include a bunch of extras for the multiplayer consisting of items, currency, experience points, a stronger melee attack, and two bonus skins for Joel and Ellie after you’ve completed the single-player campaign.
The difference between the two versions is that you can pick between Joel or Ellie’s face to cover most of these extras. So you can get the box art, the poster, controller skin, and even the Sackboy costume to feature Joel or Ellie.
The Ellie Edition will be exclusive to GAME retailers, while the Joel Edition can be picked up through Amazon and independent stores. Which version to you plan on getting?
