When it comes down to it, all grand strategy is about romance and singing, so it makes perfect sense that Paradox Interactive is taking the Europa Universalis franchise to the next level by making a musical. 

“Like most of the great game developers, I grew up thinking about musical theater,” said Thomas Johansson, Europa Universalis IV‘s Project Lead. I think I can say the same for all video game journalists, and indeed everybody. Music is in the blood of every man, woman and child. 

Instant classics like Casus Belli and Empire Borders can now be downloaded, and we can all probably agree that Paradox needs to stop making these silly games about maps, and focus on important things like musicals. PC gaming is dead, anyway.
