New controls and a better frame rate

Eufloria has been around for ages, but the stylish real-time strategy game is only now coming to PlayStation Vita with a revised HD edition by Titanium Studios. Eufloria HD has been locked in for a Tuesday, December 17 launch on the platform.

This version sports 60 frames per second “in almost all circumstances” and “super responsive” touch-screen controls, according to Omni Systems Limited creative director Rudolf Kremers.

More than that, though, I think the flow of this game will be a particularly good fit for the system. Eufloria is one of those titles about building up a colony and then swarming planets, and despite all of the death happening, it’s frequently a relaxing experience.
