Eternity’s Child first gameplay footage

 

Fresh from Luc Bernard’s Destructoid blog, here is the first footage from his WiiWare exclusive, Eternity’s Child. This game has turned heads for its indie roots and unique visual appeal, and the footage shows off some old school platforming elements melded with the Wiimote-controlled heart targetting that we’ve heard about.

 

It looks simplistic, but nostalgic and thoroughly gorgeous. It kind of reminds me of Rayman after listening to The Cure too much. Hopefully we get some more videos soon to get a better idea of what this game can offer. It certainly looks pretty, but I’m hoping the gameplay is more involved than what’s shown.
