ESRB lists ‘Game of the YoRHa Edition’ for NieR: Automata

Finally a game worth of the moniker ‘GOTY’

The crazy brilliance of Yoko Taro and the fluid action of Platinum Games came together last year to craft NieR: Automata. It was a masterpiece.

Its legacy could have just died in 2017, but it got multiple kicks from ongoing DLC and an Xbox One port, going on to sell above Square Enix’s expectations. Now it’s seemingly getting a Game of the Year edition. Based on an ESRB listing for “NieR: Automata Game of the YoRHa Edition,” it seems to clearly indicate a GOTY version of the game for PC and PS4 that will pack-in pretty much everything on offer.

The only bump in the road is the PC version, which is still issue-laden for a lot of people. Hopefully this GOTY version, if the listing is correct, will herald in a free update with improvements on PC.
