Popular rap purveyor Eminem recorded a hit single with warbling songstress Rihanna “she did that song” Fenty called “Love The Way You Lie.” It’s a rip-roaring track with a phat beat that my chums and I enjoy very much, but how is this relevant to videogames? Well, eagle eared (not sure if eagles have ears) listeners may have spotted that Eminem actually namechecks Nintendo in the song! Mindblowing!

“But you promised her next time you’ll show restraint,” raps the yogurt-haired musician. “You don’t get another chance, life is no Nintendo game.”

Could this be hinting at a future collaboration between Marshall Bruce Mathers III and Nintendo!? We’re not going to speculate, but we think it’s a very definite possibility that will probably definitely maybe happen on it actually! All we can say for sure is that he made a vague reference to a videogame in his song, and that means something because of reasons!

In other news, we’re getting unconfirmed reports that Lady Gaga said the word “Xbox” yesterday. Stay tuned as we try to get to the bottom of this breaking story!
