What to expect from Emberville
We have some information about what the gameplay will be about, all thanks to the recent reveal. The story begins when you wake up in a prison known as the Vitromotus. You can’t remember who you are or how you managed to get there. Your objective is to gain freedom.
When you begin your escape, resources will be scarce. You’ll need wit and ingenuity to get out of the prison, and soon you’ll meet others like you. Nobody else is coming to help; it’s up to you to rescue them from their terrible fates and help them rebuild their homes.
Emberville’s core gameplay centers on rebuilding the town. You’ll encounter many characters, helping them settle and thrive. As you get to know them, you’ll uncover secrets and quests.
Some of those will also unlock advanced mechanics that will allow you to explore more of the game. As you help the villagers, some of them will also act as important NPCs and help you in your gathering and crafting goals.
There’s no single way to enjoy Emberville’s story; how you choose to fight and resist is up to you. Unique weapons let you chain combos tailored to the gameplay.
There’s also no single correct way to clear the game’s content, and you can personalize your character with skills that improve as you level up.
We will know more about the story of Emberville as we get close to the release date. So far, there’s no demo in sight, but that could change as we approach October.
