Ecosystem sim Birthdays the Beginning slips to May 2017

That goes for the PS4 and PC release

NIS is holding back Birthdays the Beginning for PC and PlayStation 4 until May 9, 2017 in North America and May 12, 2017 in Europe, and while this two-month delay won’t affect many of us, I’ll take any chance I can get to bring up this game. It seems so niche, but I’m all about its concept.

To sum up the basics, this is a sandbox game (did the image give it away?) where you are an overseer who can tinker with the geography and temperature of your world to sustain evolving lifeforms, from single-celled organisms to dinosaurs, woolly mammoths, bears, and beyond. It’s in development at Arc System Works and Toybox Inc., with involvement from Harvest Moon creator Yasuhiro Wada.

Basically, games like this don’t come around all the time. I’m pumped.
