Eating food to heal in BioShock Infinite really was too much

I lost it at the part with the hoagie

A city floating in the sky? Sure, I’ll buy it. Alternate dimensions? Well, yeah. Nothing new. But eating any old random food scattered throughout town to recover health? You’ve gone too far, BioShock Infinite. I can no longer suspend my disbelief.
