Do you have an iPad? I do. For the most part I hate it for anything but reading and light web surfing. While I’m all for gaming on the iPhone, I don’t feel like it carries over as well on the iPad. It’s too big!
There’s one area of gaming where I feel like it works, though. Board games. EA has some really good ones for the iPad. Scrabble is probably my most played of the bunch, as they did a very nice job with it. There’s also Monopoly, Battleship, Life, Yahtzee, Risk and more. All of these are quite good on that big ol’ touchscreen.
Of course, there’s always the console ports on iOS. While they don’t do it for me, I will say that most of these look really nice on the iPad. Seeing Dead Space in action on the tablet is surprising.
Why am I telling you about all of these EA iPad games? They’re all discounted this weekend. Most are cut by 70 percent. All titles (listed below the jump) are $2.99 or less, most down from $9.99. Go! Get some board games.
