There’s a lot of stuff going on in this trailer for EarthNight that I don’t fully understand, but it sure looks and sounds cool. The PlayStation 4 and PS Vita (not endless) runner was painted by hand and “made to elevate the [genre] with console-quality depth and design.” Dream big.

The team at Cleaversoft — which now includes The Last of Us and Uncharted 3‘s Doug Holder — has a blog post covering the game’s content, a blend of design by hand and procedural generation. Also, an update on development: EarthNight is now looking at a late 2016 release.
