The only good bug is a dead bug
For all its jank and clunkiness, Earth Defense Force 2017 is a game worth cherishing. Just hearing its name pop up makes me want to dig out my copy and play that one beach level with a million red ants. I love how their carcasses soar. I love the way the robots flop about. This game is such mindless joy.
As of today, it’s possible to play EDF 2017 on Xbox One through backward compatibility. And for all you Sonic Adventure 2 fans out there, 2012’s Xbox Live Arcade version is also now supported.
