Why just play when you can create? Not a particularly novel concept these days, with games like LittleBigPlanet stealing the “Play. Create. Share.” spotlight. But now Electronic Arts has thrown its hat into the ring, setting the new standard for original game names with… Create.
Developed by EA Bright Light, the game will have players solving “gameplay challenges where the solutions are fueled by the creativity of the player.” This will involve, according to the first set of screenshots, putting a bicycle on a skateboard. Or a surfboard. Obviously.
Why put a skateboard underneath a bike unless you can show your friends? EA will let players share creations, solutions, and challenges on its official Create website. EA says “imaginations will run wild this holiday,” given all of the easy-to-use tools and more the game will provide. You’ve been warned.
Create is out this November for Wii, PlayStation 3 (with Move support!), Xbox 360, PC and Mac.
