Mention of Frostbite Go, “a mobile division empowering EA game developers with Frostbite’s proven excellent workflows and features to bring true Frostbite experiences to all major mobile platforms,” has been spotted on Electronic Art’s new website for the engine.

With everything in EA’s line-up that uses Frostbite — from numerous Star Wars projects to Battlefield 4 to the next Dragon Age — this could be promising news for mobile gamers. iOS and Android were specifically referenced on the site, so we’ll have to see.

Graphical prowess — what I tend to associate with Frostbite — isn’t what I feel mobile games are missing, but if this has other development-side benefits as suggested, then that’s grand.
