Electronic Arts catches a ton of criticism for its business practices, but it deserves some praise for its workplace habits. For the second year in a row, the Humans Rights Campaign has named EA one of the “Best Places to Work” after it scored 100 percent on the organization’s Corporate Equality Index.

As reported by GamesIndustry International, EA’s success in this department is attributable in large part to its commitment to its Diversity & Inclusion Team. Andre Chambers, the diversity team’s lead, responded to the recognition by saying “”We’re very proud that EA has been named a ‘Best Place to Work’ by HRC again this year and that our organization has been recognized for providing a workplace that is inclusive and where everyone feels welcome.”

It’s also worth noting that of the 304 companies to receive the award, EA is the only one whose exclusive focus is on videogames. It doesn’t get said all that often, but it’s well-deserved right now — good on you, EA.
