EA: MMA title will ‘definitely’ get a sequel

Despite sluggish sales and lukewarm critical reception, EA Sports isn’t giving up on its MMA franchise. Speaking with wrestling site Figure Four Online, EA Sports associate producer Jeff Ecker says the series will most definitely continue.

There aren’t much details outside of Ecker declaring “There is definitely going to be an EA Sports MMA 2,” but the confirmation should be enough to excite fans of EA’s initial foray into the world of professional fighting. Our own reviewer Neranjan ‘Venom’ Bissoon enjoyed EA Sports MMA, calling it a “a legit challenger” to THQ’s own UFC-licensed series of titles.
