EA is now ‘offering’ Battlefield 4 microtransactions

Be ‘excited’ for this ‘great’ new ‘feature’

If you still can manage to play Battlefield 4 without it glitching or crashing out, you’ll have a new “opportunity” in store for you when you boot up the game today. Starting this week, EA is now offering up microtransactions. Specifically, you can buy Battlepacks for $1, $2, or $3, which give you better unlocks respectively.

Unlocks include aesthetic changes like emblems, as well as enhancements that directly affect gameplay like experience boosts. Normally I don’t mind an optional service if you can still earn them the normal way, but the game is still broken for a lot of people. I’m glad DICE isn’t handling the upcoming Battlefield: Hardline.
