E3: You can play the new Desktop Dungeons from home

Recommended Videos

Community blogger princevaliant alerted us to a special, limited-time demo of the new Desktop Dungeons. Short story even shorter, QCF Design has thrown the E3 build of the rougelike puzzler up on its website for all to play over the next three days.

You can try it out over here. You’ll need the Unity web player to do so; if you don’t have it installed, you’ll get a prompt. No browser restart, at least not for me, thankfully.

Anyone who has touched the alpha, freeware Desktop Dungeons before will feel right at home. I’m digging how hysterically angry the now-illustrated character portraits are.
