E3: Wii U’s most shocking demo — Measure Up

Nintendo is insane.

They are the only company on the planet that would give a real time tech demo of one of their most popular franchises ever (The Legend of Zelda) in full HD and a game about how accurate two people can draw an inch nearly equal billing on their demo kiosks.

It goes without saying that I didn’t get quite as much out of Measure Up as I did the Zelda HD demo, but it was still fun, mostly because of who I was playing it with. Shannon, the Nintendo rep that walked me through most of the Wii and 3DS games that I played at the show, is nothing short of fantastic. Everyone email Reggie right now and tell him to give her a raise and box of sugarbears.

Wait, I should probably have told Reggie (and Iwata-san) that myself, and they both were lurking around while we playing the game. Creepy!
