E3: Virgin Gaming brings tournaments to Xbox Live

Recommended Videos

Microsoft is teaming up with Virgin Gaming to bring online gaming tournaments to Xbox Live. Arriving later in 2012, Xbox gamers will have the chance to participate in multiplayer tournaments to win real cash

Virgin Gaming is already hosting plenty of online tournaments, with the focus obviously being on sports games from the likes of EA and 2K. There’s also titles like Battlefield 3, DiRT 3, and even Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood if they’re more your style.

This could be a real interesting option when it comes to playing online gaming, maybe something that we might see more of on our own Friday Night Fights. Of course, it all depends on how well Microsoft integrates these Virgin Gaming tournaments into Xbox Live.
